General notes:
This is an interactive portal to track progress of the 55 African Union member states in developing and implementing their national agricultural investment plans (NAIPs) to achieve the goals and targets of the Malabo Declaration on Accelerated Agricultural Growth and Transformation for Shared Prosperity and Improved Livelihoods . There are four main steps in the process : 1. Domestication involving CAADP stakeholders to design a strategy for translating the Malabo commitments into action; 2. Analysis to identify key investment priorities for accelerating agricultural transformation; 3. Using the analysis to formulate an evidence-based, Malabo-compliant NAIP that is fully costed and appraised; and 4. Implementation of the NAIP with regular tracking, annual reviews, and adjustments to produce the expected results and impact.
